Oh man. I too am obsessed with the 90s and get made fun of for it constantly by my friends. It was a really good decade! There was a lot of really good music! It was awesommmmeee.

I don't think the cabbage patch had anything to do with the cabbage patch kids...unless I missed something. It's just that dance where you stick your arms out and then move them in a circle....I post someone doing the cabbage patch so that you can see it.

I'm kinda partial to a lot of the new technology too. I just think it's funny that our kids will never know the meaning of "be kind. rewind."!!

And don't worry about duplicates. No one can own the 90s-the memories are there for all of us! LoL

I have to admit that I don't miss my cassette player Walkman one bit...I'm a huge fan of the MP3 player. But I did enjoy Con Air, and I can't believe it's been that long.

I was very relieved that I won't have a lot of duplicates. I apologize in advance for using the Rachel haircut too :-)

Erin-I so totally agree! Our kids might have better technology, but nothing is as fun as it was back then! I can't wait to tell my children about taking turns holding the antenna and watching tv with my sister (since we couldn't do both at the same time, since we had to stand BEHIND the tv on one foot kinda leaned to the side in order to get reception).

Suzie-Don't feel bad, we're all a little lost. Recently I reminded my husband that 1990 was 18 years ago. As in, people born in 1990 are now not only out there driving cars but they are also legally able to both vote and smoke. Boy did he turn green! [Me too when I first realized it!]

That was a totally awesome flashback!! The music...happy sigh : ) I had hammer pants that my mom made me and the fabric had pictures of vintage telephones on them. Way cool! We should get together and do the Macarena together! Our kiddos are truly missing out.
